Stannis is the biggest asshole in this show.

That’s saying something, when your competition is Joffrey, Cercie, Ramsey and the Night King. I’m rewatching the series now. Stannis murders his brother, burns his adorable little girl ALIVE, loses half of his army to much-deserved AND FORESABLE desertion, unless you are a COMPLETE megalomaniacal asshole because of the unspeakable atrocity of the act and the next dawn is butchered by the righteous hand of Brienne of Tarth, quite fittingly, because his blood-magic murder of Renly called her impeccable honor into question. The fellow was a wriggling worm.

I think he's a massive asshole, probably in the show's top five, but I wouldn't say he's worse than Ramsey!

I just think that of all the major contenders for the Iron Throne, he would have made THE WORST king. Seriously, if anyone ever disagreed with him on any little thing he burned them alive, it was his way or the burning stake! He would have united all Westeros against him, invited the Red Godders in to back him up, and there Westeros would have been in a religious war. Fuck Stannis.

I think Ramsey was the worst but Stannis was pretty bad too, but I think it was more stupidity than assholery.

Stephen Dillane played that part rather well though.

Stannis was a complete asshole, but he wasn't sadistic like Joffrey, Cercie and Ramsey.
