Rhaegel getting killed in the attack on KL...

when they are shooting all those scorpions and then Dany losing her shit and ignoring the bells would have been more understandable.

Regardless, why she attacked the city and not the Red Keep where Cersei actually was is inexplicable. She stares in anger at the Red Keep and precedes to attack it last.

Instead they kill him randomly with three perfect bolts from a hidden flotilla of ten ships from the Iron Fleet and then the entire Iron Fleet and all the scorpions in the city miss her in the next episode. It's just ludicrous. And they made a big deal about Euron building this huge fleet of 1,000 ships. How many ships could she have destroyed in 2-3 passes? Pfft.

Yeah, I agree ... it was completely out of character for her. It seems that now a lot of movies or series go to great pains to develop characters so that you feel you know then and can predict them ... then to end the show they have the character behave completely out of character.

I agree with this, that would have made Dany's turn much more convincing, but at the same time I really love watching Drogon solo completely lay waste to what Cersei called the undefeated Red Keep.

The mighty Drogon didn't need the help of any other punny dragons to destroy King's Landing.
