The pacing man, the pacing's crazy!

Is the story moving a bit too fast for you guys?
I'll admit that transition from one scene to another is pretty flawless but the pacing is a big step away from seasons 1-6.
It's like w/o the finished books to guide them, they have no good material to spread over 10 episode season...

I'm really enjoying the pacing....yeah, bring it on! Skip over all the baloney stuff and let's get right into the meat of it.

I am actually loving the current pacing. But I have to admit, each of the battles in Episode 3 would have taken up an entire episode in earlier seasons.

I'm not sure about that. The war in season 2 and 3 had numerous battles that occurred offscreen. The one where Jaime gets captured by the Starks comes to mind. The battle of blackwater got its own episode but there were hundreds of battles that were alluded to that didn't even get a second of air time.

I don't see any problems with pacing. I want winter to hurry up and get here so that we can see them all fight the WAs. I guess the showrunner is saving that battle for last?
