They are gonna make a prequel spinoff

They've been running out of ideas for the main show, so I'm not sure if the creative team should be spreading themselves any thinner. But who knows, maybe it will be okay. It seems these days they though just want to spinoff everything... Chicago Fire, PD, Med Justice... NCIS, LA, NO... CSI etc. Rather see something original.

It's all about the writing I think,I hope it'll be good.

I'm not really looking forward to it but it has a good time slot just after the original so that will help it in the short term. I found his mother really annoying on the original because I can't stand religious fanatics so it will be even worse with her as a main character. Laurie Metcalf's daughter is playing her too, as if there isn't enough nepotism in Hollywood, give someone else a chance.
