I guess that's that for any hope of the sequels....

There were plans to make 2 sequels which never happened due to an unexpectedly low box-office and licensing rights as well. But there was always hope that one day it might still happen. Now with the tragic passing of William Hurt, there could and should never be any sequels now. Bill's character was the highlight of the film. I wished so bad that they had been able to make them. Bill was such a joy to watch in everything he was a part of. RIP to an amazing actor and person.

No he couldn't. No one could. No one could ever replace Bill. In anything or anywhere. Ever. 😞😞😞😞

Are you getting confused with William Hurt and Jeff Bridges?

Come to think of it, the late William Hurt is like a genetic mash-up of Bridges and Harris.
