I can respect that you have a difference of opinion. There are those who like the taste of their own piss, I'm not that person but I respect the fact that you probably have a difference of opinion on that too.

Haven't tried my own piss or anybody elses, but I see your point, you respect the fact that other people are far more intelligent than you are by trying to insult them with some stolen post. Great, I don't respect that, but I've learnt to deal with worst.

I enjoyed my first 2 times watching Donnie Darko, but it rapidly lost my interest to the point I started haring it cause it seems to be just a simple trick to fool us all, I won't talk much about this but I very strongly disagree with the hype around that movie, it's cool, but overrated, my 1 star for Donnie Darko it's nothing but pure fairness. The last action hero one, it's hobest, fun, and ridiculously accurate in it's portrayal of what a mess acrion movies are, if you disagree with me l, I get it, you are just different. I have my criteria heavyly buikt upon good taste and intelligent film making rather than what I consider to be just extremely nerd filming.

Funny thing is that the first time I saw the movie about a year ago is just so so. Just now I've watched it again but this time I love this movie - that's why I login to my imdb and write this :).

Some scenes doesn't make sense, but I don't care much. More over I've seen many other movies that doesn't make sense yet I enjoyed them.

To me, this movie as a whole is beautiful, great music and songs also.

I just hated it, myself. Saw it when it came out, and all I remember of it is multiple scenes where Gosling would stare into the horizon. Maybe I missed a scene that tied together all that staring...

It totally sucks, both women wore dumpy clothing and the redhead had a huge ass, unnecessarily violent, weird music, creepy lead character, difficult to follow, unrelatable characters, no humor, not enough driving, not enough cool action or special effects, very slow in parts, when you do see driving it disappoints, this film is no fun. Shame as the trailer made it look cool!

Anyone looking for a decent movie give this a miss, check out the fast and furious franchise! Soooo much better than this crap!

Agreed! I had trouble buying Ryan Gosling as a tough guy to. It was amusing how he would just stand there quietly with this vacant look in his eyes while putting his hand in his pockets trying to be all badass. The music sucked and the bad guys weren't very intimidating either, but trying really hard to be

That was my main problem with the movie.
I think he was trying to pull off this cool / 'strong silent' / man of few words / clint eastwwood / noir / type image.
He just came across as retarded , or at best a rude asshole.

Like when that woman was trying to get to know him he's just staring vacantly around , probly chewing a toothpick.
