Worst character on the Show?

I thought of just starting a thread on how much I disliked Pete, but why not make it general and ask who everyone found to be their least favorite, on 30 Rock?

For me, Pete was just so DULL. His neurosis was not amusing in any way. I guess he was supposed to be the "straight man" to the group, mostly anyway. But nothing else worked in his favor.

Poor Scott Adsit, playing such an uninteresting character on such a great show, for seven years! Even his story in the finale was waaah-waaah.

Elisa the nurse (Salma Hayek), from season 3. Seriously just as an actress in general she is virtually unwatchable. Alec Baldwin absolutely carries her in every scene she has, just to make those scenes even remotely watchable. The only role she ever had that was decent was in From Dusk Till Dawn....and she had zero lines in that movie if I remember correctly...and that is not a sexism comment, to be clear.

Side note: I recently got my mother to finally watch 30 Rock during a week long stay at family cabin in the Smokey Mountains, after all these years of begging her to. We cranked through the first 2 seasons in a week....and she never "binge watches" anything. Long story short, when we began season 3 she commented, "I just LOVE every character on this show." Then I remembered Salma Hayek...and I simply went, "Well...just wait". After the first Elisa episode she just gave me a knowing look.😒

I didn't mind Pete, was hardly in it. To the point where if you hated him and every scene he was in it would probably amount to 2/3 minutes each episode.....

I don't like Kenny, so mincey and pathetic, also his character don't grow/learn/develop from season 1-7...

Best is the three leads which even it out....

It's refreshing that 30 Rock was so well written that there are nearly 80 posts here and not one of them belittles the 4 actual leads - Liz, Jenna, Tracy, or Jack. It's a testament to these characters being well written.

That being said, I rarely got a laugh out of Kenneth. McBrayer annoys me. Could have done without Frank and Lutz from time to time.

Loved James Marsden. LOVED Angie though. And lest we forget the wonderful Colleen!

It's also intriguing how we can agree wholeheartedly on certain things:

I loved all these guys too. Frank was my "dirtbag" altar ego. Loved 'im. LOL.

I disliked all except of Jenna.
At first, Liz was also annoying, but her scenes with Jack are the funniest.

my favourite characters are Jack and Jonathan.

I don't remember the character's name but the guy who was the robot at first. He was strange looking and had no chemistry with the cast.
