Clearly trying to copy michael bay...

I watched in horror as this movie attempted to reproduce the michael bay style. It was so much so I decided to come on here to check to see who directed it. However it fails miserably at reproducing it let alone being a tense action movie. This movie tries so hard to convince you there is danger, that you should feel stressed but it's laughable... I can't bring myself to finish it because it saddens me. I fee if michael bay had directed it that it may have been pretty epic. I am surprised to learn this did ok in the long run. I've never heard anything about this film before and I don't think I will any time soon.

Considering tony scott was directing before Michael Bay i would have to disagree with you.

Michael Bay has been 'borrowing' from Tony Scott for at least twenty years now.

You’ve never heard of Tony Scott? For the record, Bay ripped off Scott, not the other way around. But they both have annoying styles so you’re not too far off.

One of Michael Bay largest influences are Beverly Hills Cop 2 directed by TS. Michael Bay copied Cop 2 in both BB1,BB2, The Rock & Pain & Gain.
