If ever a single throw away line deserved an award for comic genius...

"If you can get him out of the bath"

Glen's response to getting punched by Malcolm always cracks me up.

"Oh no, I've got so much on as it is!"

I love Glen.

I know writers who use sub-text and they're all cowards!

Peter Manion - "That's the problem with the public, they're *beep* horrible"
MP's aide - "Peter, you can't say that the public are *beep* horrible"
Peter - "Yes I can, I've met them"

Hugh has some of the best throw away lines

(When told his phone is ringing) "Yes, I know, I'm in denial"

(When they move into the new building with glass walls) "It's going to be bloody hard to shoot up in there"

I miss Hugh :( probably my favourite character after Tucker

I simply. Am not. There

Malcolm (to Olly): "Heeey, Tintin's sexy sister!"

I also thought the bit about Stephen Hawking was hilarious

Malcolm's irate tennis analogy rant when he found out his department had inadvertently wiped the immigration records of some 170,672 people was hilarious (Series 3 episode 2, I think). Also, I remember laughing hard when he called Julian "Nosferatu".

"..the wee ball boy is having a go now.."

Brilliant show. Amazingly funny.

Too many excellent lines for me to quote, but the one that sticks in my mind is where they're talking about Terri:
"She just can't think outside the box. In fact, she's built herself a smaller box INSIDE the box."

reply

Malcolm: Come the fuqq in or fuqq the fuqq off.

Brilliant!

There's one throwaway line from Nicola that makes me absolutely crack up everytime I hear it.

"I'm going to have to go slapstick, aren't I? Do the speech straight but dressed as Freddie Starr's Hitler."

You're about as on the ball today as a dead seal

"I'm off to wipe my arse on pictures of Nick Robinson... I'm getting good at giving him a quiff."

And, don't know why, but also Ollie's comment, something along the lines of
"Eee Glen, put on the tiny kettle will thee, I'm reet parched" always made he chuckle.

"I put gum in my ass cos I like to pop sh*t"

reply

"The All-British Supremes?"

"Sounds like a racist tribute band."

Olly explaining to Jamie why someones wall wasnt rebuilt:
