Who exactly is this movie for?

As a straight man I cannot find anything relatable or any characters that draw me in to feel anything for them since they are all unlikable.
(Except for Andy's BF since he has to put up with her shit. But none of the main ones.)
I had no idea what Prada meant.

I have tried to watch this movie but then get bored by it.

So it seems to me this is only for those in the fashion industry or those that have any interest in it.

It is for humans who can relate to the feelings of vulnerability or trying to make it in a cutthroat industry. And people who had horrible bosses.

Being unable to enjoy a movie unless the characters are the same sex, age, race, class, or whatever as you are is not only very limiting, but juvenile. The same is true of having to find the characters likable.

That is one of the things that makes a movie enjoyable.
To have characters that are relatable.
This one had none for me.
