what would you name Captain Marvel/Shazam
Shazam! is not his name it should be Captain Marvel but why was it, he was a Champion more than a captain of anything.

well thanks to Marvel He's not the one most people think of when you say Captain Marvel now and When you look up Shazam you're more likely to find stuff about the app so despite him being around for 70 years and being able to fly before Superman
so what would you name him Shazam was the wizards name
DC didnt want the character existing as competition to Superman and allowed the name and ownership to slip into the public domain. Because the name was snatched up by Marvel is just "luck" on their part.
Calling himself Shazam works for me and it is up to Warner to make Shazam a household name associated with the character. People used to associate Xerox to Copy and Tissue was Kleenex.
