Van gets sent home?! Seriously?

He gets rid of Van a guy whos a very talented cook, who won the challenge earlier to get the men the win, and keeps both those two whiny bitches that do nothing but fight? In what world does this make any sense? Even the women looked dumbfounded at Ramsay's decision.

Van very rarely messed up bad, he was consistently a good cook, had some stumbles occasionally but not much, he was definitely in my top two favorites to win. Then you have Barbie and Elise who do nothing but create problems, fighting constantly, literally dragging the red team down at every turn and they get to fucking stay?

If i was Van i would of just started ranting and telling Ramsay's its bullshit he's going while those two bitches get to stay. I get so sick of Ramsay sending people home who don't deserve it while keeping trouble makers who CLEARLY should be sent home and letting them stay.

it's their typical rating oriented voting. they already know that van won't win and that he is a good guy. good guys don't create drama and in the mind of the producers it is drama that most of the viewers watch the show for, which personally i have doubts about. elise and barby don't have the slightest chance of winning, but they will keep them towards near the end, because th guarantee said drama. another reason is that they put additional stress on the other contestants to see, how they would deal with such an employee and co-worker, since the final price is an extremely demanding and stressful job in a high paying position.

it has little to do with whom really messed up enough to justify getting send home. unfortunately, i might add.

Yeah thats whats so shitty about it, if you're a nice guy and don't create drama more than likely you're going home, at least when up against someone who does. Its pretty shitty they put drama over cooking ability half the time.

sad, but true. the thing is, that of course you have to be tough as nails for the job they are aiming for, but thy could thin the heard of maniacs right at the beginning, or even at the casting stage. on the other hand it is maybe less devastating to the people who are able, but too nice for the job to get rid of them at an earlier stage. it is even kinder to them to not get their hopes up until the very last minute and spare that devastation to those that deserve it truly, like elise and barbie, but surely that's not how the producers think. they should not let those lunatics into the show at all and only eliminate who is weakest that week.

some producers get it, after a while, but most don't. the producers of top shot seemed to have realised it at a point and made the show much more fair. same goes up to a certain point for ink master, but not to the full extend they should do it. and even then, it was most likely due to viewer pressure.
