How to do a diverse, sensitive Doctor Who the best way

I think the following interviews with/among actors really get to the essence of what a successful character development and human nature exploration that embraces diverse cultures/races and gender balance looks like:

- Notice how Gal Gadot talks about the representation of women as heroes and Kumail about the relevant issues of ethnicity and race, and how they both feel about conveying political and emotional ideas in a story: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7NbKkeRNC2o

- Emily Blunt and Hugh Jackson share their experience with developing character ideas and dramatic tension as well as the truth of stories about individuals under pressure and their struggles and conflicts. Also, Emily's views about the "Mary Poppins" movie and its instinctive character and resonant narrative: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw3iARQ83HA

It just doesn't work. When you use movies or series to convey ideological/religious messages, quality sinks. There's some good movies, but they're black swans.

Christian movies have been trying that miracle for years. It didn't happen. Now it's about Doctor Who and the diversity religion. The same will happen.

It's not a problem until it seems forced. Too often you get the feeling that somethings been crowbarred in because.....reasons.

There's very few cases where it doesn't look forced.

Ken Loach movies, for example, would be one of those cases. But he's a classical leftist, which has become a very minority ideology, so nobody really cared about his ideological purity (50 years ago it would have been different). However, diversity is the current trend. Too many eyes checking the story's saintliness;.
