Final Destination - 6/10 - the original film which didn't seem beatable until recently, very suspensful and dark unlike the later films, it felt new at the time and it made the career of Ali Larter
Final Destination 2 - 4/10 - the sequel was a letdown, the only redeeming features of a terrible plot, kills and acting where the premonition sequence and Ali Larter, also I like A.J Cook
Final Destination 3 - 6/10 - an improvement on Final Destination 2 and on-par with the first film, this one had some decent actors and actresses, mainly the amazing Mary-Elizabeth Winstead, premonition was decent but the deaths were great.
The 'Final' Destination - 2/10 - terrible, horrible, 3D trash, horrible SFX, horrid acting, total unknowns, the films premonitions are meana be "Things that scare you" Airplanes, pile-ups and rollercoasters, I doubt many people expect to die at a damned speedway
Final Destination 5 - 8.5/10 - the most recent and the best, very well-known actors for certain characters, the opening premonition bested the SFX of a big-budget action (Transformers) the characters were likeable, gruesome deaths, great use of 3D, also this was the only film since FD to take a darker and more serious route something I loved along with the twist ending

Final Destination 1 (8/10) Ah, yes, the original. I liked it. Dark, original, clever, and the acting was really good. Loved the disaster in this one and the deaths were pretty creative. It did seem to drag on towards the end, and the effects weren't really that special.
Final Destination 2 (8.5/10) A great followup to the original. The disaster was pretty intense and realistic. Excellent acting and even more clever deaths than the first movie. I liked the rule of cheating death in this one too. The effects were an improvement over the original.
Final Destination 3 (8/10) I liked this movie too. The disaster, while not too likely to happen, is pretty realistic. I liked the deaths in this movie and the clues that indicate them are just awesome. I didn't like some parts of the setting though. Acting was really good and the characters were pretty likeable. CGI was pretty noticeable however.
The Final Destination (4/10) This movie was just crap. The disaster was so unrealistic and just plain stupid. The effects? Goddamn, they were just so bad. The deaths are a complete joke, were the writers even trying? The characters were unlikeable and had ZERO development. The acting was horrible, how did these people even get the parts? The actions the characters do in certain situations makes you want to facepalm yourself so hard. So much stupidity: How the hell can you finish 4 minutes early during sex and still be going at it? How does an almost weightless water gun push down a pool drain lever? Why was the drain only sucking Hunt and not other people who were also swimming close to it? How can you have your guts sucked out through your ass by a pool drain? How can a CO2 tank propel you against a cookie cutter fence that dices your back (and have meaty chunks falling out with NO bones)? What kind of a car wash has no staff? Why is an ambulance going so fast in a zone where it's not supposed to? Why didn't the driver of the ambulance that ran over George get out of there? Why the hell does a construction site have so many "spontaneously combustible" tanks sitting all over the place? The reason I'm giving this movie a 4 is because of the soundtrack. The opening credits were absolutely amazing and I loved the song that plays through them and the ending credits. The racist was listening to some pretty awesome music and the sex scene was rather hot. Still, terrible movie.
Final Destination 5 (9.5/10) Now THAT'S more like it! The disaster was awesome, the effects are a million times better, the 3D was put to good use, the acting was an improvement, the deaths are creative and gruesome, and the ending was MARVELOUS! Best entry in the series!

Amazing Mary-Elizabeth Winstead??? What film were you watching??? Her acting was cringeworthy, especially that awful line "it's gonna crash! It's gonna crash!". Simply awful. Final Destination 2 was miles better than the third one.
