It wasn't rape. It started out as a fight that turned into mutual sex. They both reacted at the same time and got into it. I guess you could call it angry sex. One minute you're fighting with someone, the next your going at it.
The rape scene in Straw Dogs was very different. It started out as rape, then became reluctant sex, and then mutual sex, the rape again.
