Did you know that Jason Statham has a 3 Second Role in this??

At the very beginning of the movie when he hands Tom Cruise the briefcase at the Airport when he arrived at LAX?? I wonder why Jason Statham didn't have a larger role in this??

I was just about to reply to this after researching this.. I've never seen any of the Transporter movies.. Are they any good??

Michael Mann had started preproduction on Miami Vice when he shot Collateral. Casting was underway. Jason Statham came in to discuss a part. The airport sequence was some of the last scenes shot at LAX. He might have been offered the part in those meeting.

FYI
Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt and Matthew McConaughey were all considered for the role of Det. Sonny Crockett.
