if it's such a great film how come it's never on tv?

independence day...always on tv
misery...always on tv
fargo...always on tv
the notebook...always on tv
mean girls...always on tv
the dark knight...always on tv

if king kong was such a "masterpiece" as some people in this forum are claiming it to be, then why isn't it on heavy rotation like the films I mentioned?

not such a great film after all, to the point where they can't even sell it for advertising. no one wants to watch it, TiVo it, or dvr it.

The movie sucked compared to what we see in modern day and the only reason people say they like it is because they willed themselves to do so when it came out because it was Peter Jackson and he could do no wrong since he made the LOTR movies
