That Sarsgaard didn't get an Oscar nom for this...

I think Hayden knocked it out of the park too. Much better to anything he has accustomed us to in the Star Wars trilogy for instance. But maybe that's just me.

Sarsgaar is usually convincing when he's not playing in a superhero movie, so i wasn't surprised. But the same can't be said for Hayden. Jumper was atrocious for instance. Anyway.

I agree he was very very good in this.

Sarsgaard was superb, better than any of that year's supporting actor nominees. It's difficult to secure an acting nomination for a tiny film which is not in competition for other categories.

An excellently subtle performance. He says so much while being pretty dry and stiff. Should've gotten an Oscar nom. Hayden was also great for similar reasons; he's a great stiff and lifeless robot.
