Natalie is "fat"??

I love this movie but I never understood why they had to add in a jab about a perfectly slim woman being called "chubby". so uncalled for!

Is she the character played by the EastEnders actress?

If so, she wasn't exactly portly but she did have a slightly chunky face which could produce a double chin if angled correctly. I'm sure reference was regularly made to it on EastEnders so they were probably just playing to the domestic audience familiar with the actress.

I didn't get it either. I think she was the sexist woman in the film. I actually think that is why her weight was criticized a lot by the other stick insects in the film. Not being as stick thin as the other women made her a lot more appealing to men.

There were way too many fat jokes in this movie. I'm all for people losing weight, but it seemed a bit much.

I agree, she looked great from my POV.

She isn't fat. She just has a rounder and shorter face as opposed to most Brits who have more narrow faces. People with rounder faces are generally more naturally stocky and are also often genetically predisposed to overweight and obesity.
