the end.

this sucked- but I am glad Hannah told this moron that he needs to learn to be a "real man"

you go girl. at least she had the balls to spit the truth. also what's with his mom?! bitter much wow

Who'd he end up with? What was the big surprise of Chris telling Peter the producers didn't even know.

reply

He ends up with dating Madison in the real world to see how it goes. I believe the surprise was if Madison and Peter would get back together, or get engaged, or go their separate ways. It played out like this:
Madison dumped Peter before final rose day.
With Hannah Ann the only one left, he proposed to her.
I guess a month later, after not seeing each other during that time, Peter broke it off with Hannah Ann.
A couple months after that, Chris went to ask Madison how she felt about Peter. She said she still loves him. Chris told Madison Peter still loves her, too.
She flies to L.A. to see Peter.
Peter is surprised, and they talk.
Two weeks later, Madison comes onto the finale show to awkwardly sit next to Peter and listen to his mom belittle her.
Madison and Peter decide to see where their relationship goes.

When Peter proposed, Hannah Ann looked like she just won homecoming queen for a small high school. She's like a child. She knew he wasn't as into her as much as he was with Madison. Her "real man speech" was full of platitudes, and disappointment about the ring and the "engagement". She seemed pretty shallow through the whole thing, and why didn't she just ask him if he dumped Madison or if she dumped him?

Peter wouldn't have proposed if he wasn't pushed into it by his manipulative mother. Saying Hannah Ann was sent by God probably played with his feelings. I feel sorry for him now after seeing his family. No wonder he's the way he is. Maybe Madison and her family would be a good influence on him and help him grow up.

It's very clear what Madison is feeling is deeper than whatever Hannah Ann felt. Madison is also being honest in that she loves Peter, but not sure if they're right for each other marriage-wise. And Peter knows it won't be smooth sailing. Hope it goes well for all involved. But Barb is something else, isn't she?

reply

i hear you Daggerboard but if Peter did not want to propose to Hannah Ann then why did he?!

he should've told her like a human being that she ain't right for him and 'bye'
go chasing after Maddie.

obviously we don't know how much of this is the producers' writing but the guy was a douche from the start. there's no doubt he lacked backbone ; )

reply

Yeah, there's no excuse for him proposing to one when he was "in love" with another. I just think his family pushed him into what they wanted. I knew his mom wanted to be part of the whole thing when they faked their "renewal vows" at the beginning of the season.
Even though I hope it goes well for everyone, I can't imagine it lasting more than a couple weeks, lol. He's a dog.

Barb is a mean and nasty woman. She was so mean to poor Madison. I don't think I like the woman....

reply

She was pretty mean. And she acted so self-righteous. I don't think she realizes how she looks.
