Could you ever live in another era in history??

Ok, I've not seen this movie for probably several months, but I do own it and like it a lot. I do know that there is one character who worked for that place who had the time machine, who decided to stay in whatever year they were in. Plus that one other character who met that woman and decided to stay also. I don't know about you, but I could never do that. I would not mind going back in time, but I'd want to come back to my time.

Anyone else agree??

It's the sort of thing that most of us would come to hate, but could probably do if forced.

It all depends on how I got to live that era of history. This movie, for instance, is set in the 14th century. The majority of people back then were peasants who lived in filth and did backbreaking labor all day. If I could live as a King or at least a noble, then sure sign me up.
