Quidditch is basically pay to win

Sure if you're more skilled than someone using better equipment you can pull through, but being able to afford better equipment already gives other players an advantage that you may not have if you can't afford it. Everyone should have to use the same make and model of broom to even the odds.

Not really. Like you said, if you are more skilled it doesn't matter. Think of the brooms as race cars. They are only as good as those behind the wheel. You could have the best broom in the world, but if Hermione Granger is the rider, she'll be the worst player on the field.

Yeah that's a good point, although HP is able to win with a mediocre broom. I get what you're saying though and mostly agree with it.

I'm not disagreeing with the point that everyone should have the same equipment so all is equal, they should, especially for non-pros. I'm sure the pro's all have the best equipment so the best team wins. I'm just disagreeing with that it's pay to win.

Maybe the brooms really don't make that much of difference though? Like the Nimbus 2000 or Firebolt are the fastest broom in the world, but only slightly? Maybe there are regulations like some brooms are banned because they are too fast?

I agree with the TC. The spoiled brat Malfoy gets the most expensive and fastest Broom so he has an advatage of being faster than everyone. That ain't right!
