Tom hanks´ accent comes and goes

worst part is that the accent comes and goes.....even midsentence.........very anyoing character in this movie

I noticed that too. He seems to do that in almost all of his movies

Absolutely terrible Boston accent. It would have been better if he didn't have one at all.

It's supposed to be a Boston accent?!
Sounded like a "Forrest Gump" accent to me, or some sort of southern accent. I don't know, I'm not American.

Didnt notice Tom's accent issues, but the French mother's accent is all over the place.

So annoying, hate tom in this..... also when he eating those eclairs and crap, fucking annoying character, and bad accent that comes and goes

Yeah I agree, so annoying and unnecessary. I agree with uterman above that it would've been better with no accent at all. It's not necessary.

I gotta admit that accent got on my nerves, if you can’t do the accent well then don’t do it.
