horrible.... horrible.... WHAT DID I JUST WATCH?!?!?!

SERIOUSLY? what the hell? the other day i was looking around my little cousins DVDS, and i noticed "Hunchback of notre dame" i had never seen the film before, so was curious, i inserted the DVD to find that it was one of the darkest, boldest, and greatest disney movies ever, the villain was brilliant, and actually rather interesting, it explored serious issues, you could care about the characters, the art was amazing, the animation was brilliant, etc, then i notice another DVD in my cousins collection "the hunchback of notre dame 2", hoping that it would be up to the same quality, i foolishly inserted the disc, and then, within the first 2 minutes of the film, i realized the mistake i had just made! Horrible animation, horrible writing dull characters, dull villains, weird, and uninteresting,un epic songs...... i .... i just don't know how such a monster could be made...... oh wait now i remember: Disney! how foolish of me to think that Disney would actually make a QUALITY sequel, who ever is responsible for this.... thing should be ashamed of themselves! i warn any one:DO NOT WATCH THIS *beep* FILM!

you know there is a problem when games are smarter than movies

Watches literally two minutes before I turned it off. They had an amazing chance with all original cast and they blew it. I didn't even get to te villains. The bad animation was just too much.

I cannot figure out what inspired Disney to create a sequel for The Hunchback Of Notre Dame? I mainly bought the movie because it had my favorite actress Jennifer Love Hewitt as the voice of Madellaine and that's the only saving grace this movie has. But as I watched The Hunchback Of Notre Dame II I found it to be very boring and the storyline was tricky to figure out. What I found shocking is Esmeralda and Phoebus are married and have a son and I couldn't believe that Phoebus and Esmeralda got married so fast because in the first movie Esmeralda and Phoebus were just starting out as crushes. Also what does stealing a bell have to do with a circus? Because I found that part odd and Disney should developed a better storyline for this movie rather than make it a mystery? The only reason The Hunchback Of Notre Dame II was made was so that Jennifer Love Hewitt could make a name for herself for Disney and the other reason Disney put her in the movie was so they could have her sing as well and her song I'm Gonna Love You is so wonderful and very soothing and uplifting. But other than that this movie should be avoided at all costs

After all these years, I finally decided to watch the sequel to my favorite disney classic.

Wow.

I guess it's okay. Or maybe I just had my expectations so low, so the movie ended up being more than what I imagined. I think it had some good ideas, but as you said, the storyline is pretty half-baked. It didn't have to be as dramatic or as epic as the prequel, but this totally felt straight to tv and it shows. It's so low budget, it looks like a knockoff from the 80s, with bizarre coloring and poor perspective. The animation is janky. The returning cast might be trying but it just comes off stilted. Most of the songs were terrible aside from a few, like what you mentioned.

Contrary to the others, I did find the villain amusing. I do like the parallel they were trying to do between Madellaine and Quasi, but like everything else in the movie with the vaguest sense of promise, it kinda goes nowhere.

When I look at threads like this, it is hard for me to believe that I watched the same movie as other people did.
Is it really possible that so many people hate a movie, that I love more and more every time I watch it?

Wow...
Some people just want to hate, it seems...
