When Jill Marie Jones left during the run of the show, ( I forgot which season). Was her leaving ever explained in the storyline?

I also didn't remember them saying why she left but I assumed I missed that episode.
I think it was in the first episode of season 7 after Joan returned from New Orleans. Maya and Lynn informed her about it and she got mad at them when she found out they'd hung out with Toni when she came back for a brief visit a few episodes later.
shareAfter binging the whole thing on Netflix, I can definitely confirm that she left for New York to be closer to the child, and probably keep working on her marriage with Todd. It's a shame that they wrote her out the way they did without giving her and Joan a chance to patch things up again.
I'd hope that if the show didn't get cancelled that would have eventually happened in atleast the series finale.
Same here. They'd been through too much to just throw the friendship away for good.
