What COULD you get away with?

The thread on breaking urns has me wondering. What COULD a person get away with on SURVIVOR? Is it ever possible to slip off by yourself or pull a move unseen by the cameras? I assume you can refuse to do confessionals if you want...

I wondered about how when sometimes someone will bury an idol they've found somewhere, if someone else found it by accident, would they be allowed to keep it. I'm pretty sure there are rules about not taking one from someone's bag, but I wonder what would happen in this situation.

And if not, would production have to explain why not and name the original finder? Actually, all it would take is, "You can't have it," for the player to know it had already been found...and thus follow-up discussion should occur back at camp.

According to Richard Hatch's book, Greg from the first season used to slip away for hours at a time. Since he was an experienced survivalist he would come back with all kinds of food and useful stuff. That's why Richard Hatch targeted him right after they took out the leader of the other team.
