Is this show still being made?

I thought it had ended years ago. I see the tail end of SVU reruns when I tune in to watch reruns of "Modern Faimily". It's always that sour-faced, humorless woman grimacing about something, with dire music in the background.

I miss original "Law and Order", up to the point Jerry Orbach left.

They finally beat that record which they were unable to obtain with the original series for longest running series now they want to shore it up. Unlike Law & Order, however, this one still has the ratings to keep going.

I still kind of like it, maybe even more than the Stabler days. But I only began watching SVU after it had gone into syndication. For some reason, it seems a little less grim. Hard to put my finger on it, but it just seems a little more lively with better set design or something. The Benson / Stabler eps always seem like a depressing slog, while Fin and Rollins and Carisi are a little more fun to watch, at least it seems to me. Even Benson seems a little easier to watch. The old shows just seem overly grim, and I also notice a reliance on music to set the mood, but it makes it more unpleasant, to my taste anyway.
