They should definitely do a big send off to Adam West on Family Guy, and there is no replacing his character. But, that being said, someone needs to be the Mayor of Quahog. They could do a whole episode about someone becoming the new Mayor, but I think I know the perfect Family Guy character who is the candidate to be mayor.

Mayor James Woods... Makes James Woods a new regular on Family Guy as the new Mayor.

I think the back story of Adam West being the mayor was due to his role in Batman. Since Batman is a protector of Gotham, it was appropriate to use his actor as the mayor of Quahog. I do not know if James Woods would have that same back story.

I guess Burt Ward wouldn't have the same gravitas either. Personally, I would enjoy Mayor Patrick Stewart, but he's already pretty busy. How about Brent Spiner?

Patrick Stewart is cool but he already has a big role on American Dad, I bet they'll get someone from a 70s or 80s show or movie to replace him.
