This is a very good movie. It's the third best in the series, part 1 and 2 obviously being better.

In Hindsight, you're right. Little did we know the quality of sequels to follow.

At the time, it felt cheap compared to Terminator and T2. Salvation gives it a run for its money, but anything after that is flaming hot garbage.

When I saw it the first time, I thought it was weak but a good entry in the series. After watching the other sequels, I now feel this is a truly great sequel. Still not as good as the first two films though.

I skip anything after the first two. I've seen the sequels (except the most recent) and I find that the first two wrap the story up well. I did watch #3 a while back and found it to be fun enough. Just not necessary. I'm glad you enjoyed it though. We can't all be fans, but at least there are fans.

when they make a boob joke in the first 4 minutes, and ruin my perception of the terminator as a threat, I just don't care anymore.

the first was a straight horror, the second action with still many horror elements.

this was just a pure generic action.

I get the hate, but I still think it's very good.
