He would've in all likelihood been barking up a storm, not hiding. I've heard of animals cowering of evil demonic spirits, but these weren't malevolent demonic entities. Especially dogs, they have too much courage..this is y this scene seems strange.

shareI never thought that the teen boy killed himself. I always imagine moreso that he had showed a gun to a friend and they shot him in the back of the head (likely an accident), given the location of his wound and the difficulty is shooting oneself there.
