shareHeck this whole movie is a plot hole: Just because she was falsely convicted of a crime doesn't give her the right to commit the crime after the fact. Sure she was falsely convicted of killing him on a certain date but if she actually does kill him on a different date it is now a completely different incident which she was never tried for. Therefore she would still go to jail.
