Movie's pacing best ever?

I don't claim to be a movie expert though I've seen plenty of good movies but I swear to god this movie has the best pacing of any movie I've ever seen. It's so BEAUTIFULLY paced right from the get go, the background music is insync with the furious pace, the dialogues are slick. This has to be the slickest paced movie I've ever seen, such a sense of urgency about it. What do you guys think of the pacing specifically?

PS: Jon Voight was fantastic wasn't he?

reply

Just watched again and WOW, are you correct. It felt like something awful was about to happenat any minute....breathtakingly urgent

reply

I watched it like 10 or more years ago last, and watching it today, you're absolutely correct, the movie's pacing is brilliant.

I also thought the dialogue was snappy and entertaining and the movie left you out of breath.

Its good. Especially the end part. I like all Will w movies too though

I agree with you, decimation. It's why I was a big fan of Tony Scott (RIP) -- some of his scripts got a bit dumb at times, but he really knew how to keep a film moving along and build the dynamics without losing focus on the story details. In the world of popcorn action flicks, there was no-one better. This and Crimson Tide, I think, are amazing.

And yeah, Jon Voight was impressive. To my mind, he usually is. 

You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
