What’s up with the Broken Arrow music?

It was totally out of place.

I know, it disturbs me to this day. I love the music but it was so unique in Broken Arrow that it was just bizarre to see it transposed to the ‘love scenes’ between Gale and Dewey here.

Marco Beltrami is a weak composer but he did great work for Scream, then went back to his crappy ways for Scream 2 and it looks like they cut and pasted Broken Arrow music over whatever drivel he’d composed for those scenes.

Exactly not only was it reminding me of a much better movie where that music was more appropriately used but it was beyond out of place, that’d be like having Indiana Jones’s theme playing when Clarice Starling sees Hannibal Lector for the first time.

It was used as temp score, but Wes Craven liked it, so he left it in. It wasn't even Marco's decision, listen to the audio commentary.

I think it works well
