they would basically be Russell Crowe and Guy Pearce. Rewatching this made me think Dawn of Justice could have been so much better if it had actually took the time to know the two characters individually before having them team. I know its a bit of stretch, but I always got a batman (beats up people to near death) and superman (does everything by the book) vibe out of this movie.

shareThis could also be applied to a bunch of other detective/cop movies, to be honest. Although I definitely do see the parallel here. And I agree about what could've helped that disastrous superhero movie (Snyder bros be damned, those two characters deserved better).
