Anyone else thinks it iss overrated?

I am watching it right now. Over rated? Well, I don't recall the critics or fans loving it when it first came out so I don't think I would say it was over rated. Not my favorite QT film, but I love the cast and the soundtrack.

It's by far, his most underrated movie

Yes actually. I think you may have gone a bit far with your "on TV anytime" statement, but I do think its overrated by IMDB standards. The dialogue was often top notch, and the camera-work was some of Tarantino's best, but everything else let me dowm. Didn't really find much reason to invest in any characters, and the plot was sluggish & doesn't justify the running time. The climax was a big letdown as well. But I think Jackie Brown falls into that weird category on IMDB where its the overlooked film by a big name director, so it gets alot of the "this is the underrated masterpiece" treatment from people who want to stand out.

Another self-appointed internet critic who didn't actually pay attention to the movie. Try not to text and use the computer and talking to people while viewing movies. You will get more out of them.

I found it pretty bland too, I was very aware of the ending well before it came. Too much foreshadowing. Over and underdeveloped characters for their place in the story.

I enjoyed it, maybe not loved it, but I did like it and would consider watching it again. I've only just seen it recently, it's a pretty good movie with great music, acting, plot, love the trademark Tarantino look and feel... but it didn't blow my mind or anything.
It is leagues above anything "you can see on TV anytime", though... I mean, what are we talking, made-for-tv movies? Dramas? Have you *beep* watched TV recently? It's really only a quarter gold, the rest is *beep*

Quite the opposite in fact, I think it is very underrated. It is not his best work but by far not his worst either. I'd like to know what kind of tv you watch?
