Its a pretty good film in my opinion. 7 out of 10.
And in my opinion also, after "Die Hard 2: Die Harder" (1990), yes the sequel to the classic original "Die Hard" movie, it is also director Renny Harlin's second best film in my opinion.
And it was quite fun watching Geena David being this tough chick capable of taking on tons of baddies and succeeding. And Samuel L. Jackson was pretty good and provided some humour for the balance too.
Its not quite a perfect film, but it is solid and definitely worth seeing.
Strangely enough, some of my mates, who were into movies of this sort, and have also appreciated Renny Harlin's work such as the aforementioned Die Hard sequel, Cliffhanger and Deep Blue Sea, and who liked some Geena Davis films like the classic Ridley Scott movie "Thelma and Louise" (1991), did not really like this movie. But I thought it was quite good actually.
Also, that touch screen bomb on the truck looked quite advance and ahead of its time for 1996.
And with all the 90s tropes and aesthetics and whatnot, they rarely if ever make them like this anymore. So yes its a good film and I am happy enough to own it and watch it once a while. :)
