There's been talk of Netflix making a new version of this show in a darker, more serious setting, but frankly, I don't have high hopes.

Just the sight of the ugly girl they chose to play the lead turns me off to the story, never mind the fact that the series needed a re-boot, or that there was anything really wrong with the original show's premise. To be honest, nobody can really replace Melissa Joan Hart as Sabrina, and to try with some new kid, much less an ugly 12-year-old with a little red riding hood cloak, BLACK EYEBROWS, and fake blond hair, is pointless.

I'm guessing it'll fail before the season's even gone more than 5 episodes.

I saw a few episodes. It takes a dark twist to the storyline. Just like Riverdale does with Archie.
