How did the team know to look for Sil at the motel?

Not sure if I missed a line of dialogue or if there was a deleted scene, but after the failed lab experiment, the team suddenly shows up at Sil's motel, questioning the guy at the front desk. How did they know she was there? I thought maybe it had something to do with the stolen credit card she used, but I didn't hear anything to that effect.

Probably reporting the credit card as stolen

You may have watched an edited version. Right after the experiment (about 37:00 minutes on the DVD), Fitch (Kingsley) calls Preston (Madsen) in his room and says that "the conductor's stolen credit card has turned up". They jump into the van and take off.
