The seatbelt scene, SPOILER...


... would the driver of the car, Laurence Fishburne's character, really be able to like that, whilst driving, effectively put and strongly hold a seatbelt against Sean Connery's character whilst preventing him from breathing and screaming and Connery not at the very first instance be able to stop it? Was that scene plausible to you and realistic in how it was portrayed?

I don't know for sure. The cop would have had the element of surprise on his side. He was younger and probably stronger. It seems logical that when an attacker has the surprise element and cuts off a victim's oxygen supply (however temporarily), the victim would be momentarily confused and panicked.

Seems pretty unlikely. He'd wouldn't have a lot of leverage in that position.
