The whole movie is basically...

... Fawlty Towers (the acclaimed and classic British comedy series) meets "The Witches of Eastwick" (1987) meets the Coen Brothers/John Dahl light-hearted combination meets "Home Alone" (1990) meets a lighter and less sophisticated "Tarantino/Pulp Fiction (1994)", and is overall an OK slice of hotel-themed movie comedy anthology, with undeniable Tarantino and Rodriguez' feel at least very much in the segments directed by them, but nothing too extraordinary and less than a sum of their parts, but an OK 6/10 I ultimately will give it.

Worth a look but don't expect too much.

Saw this in the cinema when it came out and regretted it. It's four directors goofing off, basically. Not really worth seeking out, but watch in case you happen to encounter it, mainly for the Rodriguez short film:

I assume it's a portmanteau type of production and apparently not a successful one - but it's a hell of a cast for the time.
