There are 3 things I really like about the film.
1. Given the mediocre script, Val Kilmer was both a great Bruce Wayne and Batman.
2. The batmobile looks pretty cool.
3. The score is great and quite memorable.
I like Batman Forever. Not as much as the Burton movies, but it gets a lot of unfair heat because of how crap Batman & Robin is. Kilmer did a really good job, as you say, as both Batman and Bruce Wayne. And as far as I'm concerned, to this day no-one has looked better in the Batsuit than Kilmer.
shareI think the only reason why this was truly hated was because how different it was from the first two. The writer confirmed there is a different cut to the film that is a lot darker and more serious. I hope they release it.
shareBatman & Robin was (unintentionally) funny and thus entertaining (at least the first 30 minutes). I hated Batman F(or)ever before I even saw B&R.
The only thing I took with me from Batman F(or)ever was the U2 song.
That U2 song was great. As was Val Kilmer.
Unfortunately the film wasn't so good.
