What if Tommy Lee Jones played Two-Face like he acted in Under Siege?

It's quite obvious that in Batman Forever, he was trying way too hard to keep up with Jim Carrey's zany Riddler, when he should've been the more serious, straight-forward villain. In Under Siege, Tommy Lee Jones also plays a crazy and chaotic bad guy, but he's much more menacing and not so over-the-top.

I can get behind this. Not only would it have made Two Face better, but the dynamic may have improved as well.

Supposedly, TLJ's marriage was not going well at the time and he was taking out frustration on set. Combined with the script, he probably phoned it in and screwed around as much as he could while maintaining what control he could.

It didn't quite make sense for me that this top lawyer acted all zany and impulsive, even though some of the acid probably melted part of his brain.

MAKES SENSE...NOW ALL WE NEED IS A TIME MACHINE.🙂

We're the villains in the 60s show ever this loony? Didn't WB remember his role in Under Siege, which is as close as he got to being comedic? Anyone with a brain knows that Jones can't play a non-serious role very convincingly.
