A love for Wade?

Okay am I the only person who likes Wade? I thought he was gorgeous in the movie and for some reason I made him up in my head to have some feelings for Gail. I kept noticing these slight lines and side glances between them. Like when he said to her "you are an amazing woman" and "things must've been worse between you and Tom than I thought there were". Is it just me? Did I completely imagine that there was a slight relationship between the two characters..? And are there any other Wade fans out there? X

never found bacon sexy or gorgeous. Just creepy, the kind of guy you want to run away from... very unattractive for me. It scares me to read the lustful comments of females, disregarding the parts played, and the way they are played.

Gail was definitely attracted to him until she caught him peeping at her while she was skinny-dipping. It was obvious and anyone who didn't perceive the sexual tension wasn't paying attention. Even after she became aware that Wade was a violent criminal, she still betrayed a hint of that initial attraction when she basically dared him to rape her.

He was charming but had no killer instinct.

reply

Sociopaths who do have killer instincts often elicit a charming facade, in order to lure their victim(s) to harm.

reply

These criminals who do exhibit charm are often the most dangerous, because they're extremely skillful at catching their victim(s) off guard, if one gets the drift.

reply

He was manipulative and I hated every second he was on screen.

I'm just 15 minutes in and, hell yeah, there's definitely something there. Why did she introduce her husband as Roarke's father?

I think Kevin Bacon is extremely unattractive, though.
