Another lazy cash grab remake

Disney, how creative you are, Marvel, Star Wars, live action remake series
That's the best you can do???
This is just another reason why people keep saying the old days are better, at least filmmakers are create something new and fresh, now the studio just want to make money and keep making the same crap over and over and creative movies just getting smaller and smaller budget.

Disney used to be fun and enjoyable. They made great films like Toy Story, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Beauty and the Beast, Atlantis the Lost Empire, the Little Mermaid. Now, they're remaking classics left and right, buying the rights to Star Wars. If Walt Disney were alive, he would be shaking his head in shame.

Toy Story was mostly Pixar rather than Disney, and Atlantis saw mixed reactions at best. Also, we got Zootopia and are getting Moana this year, balancing out Jungle Book and Pete's Dragon, though that's it until 2018 for the new works (ie, not remakes or sequels).

The hype on Zootopia is seriously pissing back!

There will be nothing lazy about this.

The Jungle Book was really good and everything I've seen from the new Beauty and the Beast looks fantastic. If The Lion King can be anything like those two it'll be a great movie.

Disney has been remaking all of their animated classics into live action, all of which have gotten mixed responses to say the least. It’s gotten to the point where many people on the internet have reacted to another announcement that Disney is going to remake another animated movie into live action with dread. If there is one remake that’s even less anticipated than others, though, it’s probably the new Lion King, mostly because of the fact that they’ve called it a live action remake. And that is stupid.

I'm sick of remakes too, it's just a lazy cash grab. It's getting as bad as the mid 90s to the 2000s when Disney cranked out crappy direct to video sequels and prequels of nearly all of their classic movies, few people remember them now, they just want to see the classics.
