Wayne and Garth were grunge youths who embodied the 90's rock culture. Seeing them as 59 a d 67 year old men playing the same schtick would be odd. The script would probably follow the cliché of them having kids who need their quirky character traits to save them. But, that usually falls short as it has been poorly done with Bill and Ted and Dumb and Dumber.
Plus, after the pentaverant, I prefer to let Mike Myers be. That show was awful.
