wearing the t-shirt of the band you're at the concert of is not cool. it's why they didn't get into the after party.

Garth reminds me of young guys I knew in the '70s and '80s who identified as "drummers", but never took lessons or actually played in a band. They just carried a pair of sticks around in their hands or their back pocket all the time.
