Henry's private man-cave (and: the treehouse again) - yeah, right...

You seriously want to tell me Henry's mom never ever during all the past years went into this big, adult-sized man-cave garage or whatever of his, with dolls in a noose dangling from the ceiling, creepy masks on the wall etc. until THIS one afternoon so she could conveniently find her dead son's rubber duck and realize Henry's true nature? Give me a break.... :-)

And that treehouse of horror: Not just that it's ridiculously high up, but to get to it you have to climb and hold on to only some small wooden boards nailed to it all the way up that crooked and twisted tree, some 25 or 30 feet? With branches easily breaking when you step on them? Show me parents who would actually let their kid use something like this!

Hey don't forget about the small animal skulls. Keep in mind this was the early nineties way before you could find those on eBay or online stores. We can assume he collected road kill and or they are from animals he killed. Shooting that dog in the movie was not his first rodeo. As far as the mom never seeing the stuff I agree far fetched that she never went in there but she probably thought it was harmless. I read the novelization of this. Basically he never asked her to not go in but she was letting him have a place that was his.
