Is it too late to do a Dark Knight Returns adaptation with Michael Keaton?

Michael Keaton will be at least 70 when the proposed Flash movie is expected to come out in 2022. There are rumors that the long awaited third Keaton Batman movie will be a take on Batman Beyond. Bruce Wayne is presumably supposed to be at least, in his mid 50s in The Dark Knight Returns. So would Keaton have been more ideal to do something like that around the time that Batman Begins was being produced?

I'd pay big bucks to see Pfeiffer's Catwoman in a Wonder Woman costume! But how would it work? Jack Nicholson's Joker is long dead.

I'd rather see a true Batman Returns sequel directed by Tim Burton and ignoring the Joel Schumacher films, with Keaton, Pfeiffer and Basinger returning, it could use elements from the Dark Knight Returns story though.

I'd give almost anything for that. Maybe, just maybe, that might now be a possibility? Or something close to it, at least?
