Why?
Why did Imperioli's character get killed? Horrific!
shareHe insulted a (soon to be) made man in front of his "friends."
shareThey "made him" alright,
into a corpse
.
shareBut, what does "Tommy" recognize when he steps into that room TJ? He exclaims "Oh, no."
shareI assumed it was because the room was dark and empty. If he was really being made, other people should have been there, especially Paulie. Maybe the floor was covered with plastic tarp.
shareJust saw it again after many years.
The room wasn’t dark and there wasn’t any tarp on the floor. But it was empty and that was clearly enough of a clue.
You're probably right, guys,
"Paulie" queries "Henry" about it at one point. Henry disrespects him by saying something to the effect: "You mean that thing over at Christies?" The look on Paulie's face is recognition and veiled anger. "Paulie" knew then.
The three of them feared they wouldn't let it pass, and they were right. They knew Henry wasn't a killer, but, didn't Conway assist in the murder? Not a lot, but, he took a few swings as well, didn't he, TJ?
Anyway, so, anything out of the out ordinary that day would alarm an already wise and suspicious Tommy.
I just wish it were a little more cut & dry. It's bothered forever.
Jimmy was part of a.🤤😀🤔🤔ii
share---Did you get the requisite kick when the young Tommy calls Henry, Hendry?
