Did they have no forensics?

After he kills Tracy, didn’t they have any fingerprints? He clearly put his hands on Jaime Lee’s neck and clothes. He was not wearing gloves. Did he not leave any fingerprints on any door handles, stairs, elevators etc? Were there no witnesses, no one who saw him enter and leave the building? No one who saw him walking around the street before or after the crime?

This is a somewhat obscure movie from my generation. How did you come across it?

Its free on Vudu & Tubi right now. And Jaime Lee is a big name

It is interesting to me what movies media companies dust off and present to new generations because it fits the current cultural trends.

This movie was kinda of a bomb when it came out and all but forgotten when Silence of the Lambs came out a year after.

I am a fan Curtis, so I am glad it's getting some attention.

I have read some theories and interpretations from people about this movie that a lot of it is meant to be taken either metaphorically or there is either a psychological or a supernatural aspect to most if not all that happens in this movie.

To some extent, the movie "The Hitcher" (1986), which was also scripted by Eric Red, springs to mind too.

I think it’s all real but there’s a good dose of style and some themes that emerge - eg men being violent to women (the main villain attacking Jamie Lee, her mother being beaten by her father)

It’s directed by a woman so it wouldn’t surprise me of some feminist ideas found their way in.
